In addition to the tools available on the banner section at the top of the screen, there are two more menus that offer supplementary functionalities.
The Tools Menu can be accessed by clicking on the globe icon.
Clicking on the Print Map button will open a separate window with a PDF file. This print out page will display the map corresponding to the current selection on the Mapping Application. Make sure to disable your pop-up blockers before attempting to print a map. Also, be aware that this map will depict the region selected in the Map Viewer with no additional information. If you want specific details for a parcel, make sure to click on the Printer Friendly Version available from the Flood Information Report.
Bookmarks allow you to save frequently accessed parcels similar to the Favorites feature of Internet Explorer. To add a bookmark, you must select the parcel you want to bookmark using the Search options (parcel id, twn/rng/sec, or address) or the Parcel Hover / Pick tool. Then click on the Tools menu and click on the Bookmarks button. A new window will appear with your bookmarks (if you have any). Click on the book icon and provide a name for your bookmark, click OK.
Upon clicking OK, the bookmark is added and every time that you log in, this bookmark will be available when you click on the bookmark icon. Clicking CANCEL will close the bookmark name window. From the bookmark window you can access your bookmark or you can remove the bookmark by clicking on the x icon associated with each bookmark.
Clicking on the layers icon will toggle the Map Layers / Legend. Notice that this window appears as default when you log in, but if you close it and want to see the Map Layers/Legend again, just click on the layers icon on the tools menu.
Clicking on the Overview icon will display a small map with a larger extent than the current map in a new window. The current map’s extent is shown in this window with a gray rectangle.
