The SRWMD Mapping Application will present you with various tools along the top of the screen, a zoom slider on the right side, and a collapsible Search box and Map Layers Legend box as default when you log in.
Notice that the default view when you log in is a street view with the Suwannee Counties enclosed by a red border. You can change the map view to show aerial imagery of the same area by clicking on the Aerial button at the top right corner of the screen.
You can zoom in and out from a particular location to view various features from various scales depending on the level of detail you need. You can zoom in using the mouse wheel or using the scale bar. The slider will display the various levels of zoom including: region, county, city, panel and parcel.
You can pan the map using the standard pan functionality. This allows you to drag the map around to focus on the area needed. The pan icon provides you with a “hand” tool that allows you to pan the map. You will be in “Pan” mode until you click something else.
The PLUS icon will allow you to zoom in while the MINUS icon will allow you to zoom out of the map. You can also zoom in and out using the scale bar or using your mouse wheel.
Also known as the full extent tool, clicking on this icon will allow you to display the original map of the SRWMD counties.
The icon with an arrow pointing to the left will allow you to zoom to the previous extent of the map while the arrow pointing to the right allows you to zoom in to the next extent of the map.
